In 1971, the Bolognese designer Massimo Osti started the label Chester Perry which became CP Company in 1973. After the name change, CP Company became one of the most explosive and influential brands in the history of modern Italian fashion, and became the preferred brand of Italian intellectuals and artists. Massimo is innovative and develops garment dying in a new unconventional way where the clothes are first dyed as the last stage of production instead of using pre-dyed fabrics and materials.
