Eight & Bob started with a curious request from their first official customer, JFK, who requested 8 samples and if possible, an extra one for Bob. Before this request, the founder of these high-end perfumes, Albert Fouquet, made his perfumes for himself. Albert Fouquet was a Parisian aristocrat whose butler, Philippe, helped him ship the perfumes to the United States. The first samples that reached the United States quickly fell into the hands of Hollywood directors, producers and actors, and the rest is history.
