Anna Waller Andrés has a great love for Mayan Indian women and their amazing craftsmanship. She therefore traveled to Guatemala to create a meaningful business and started Pura Utz based on a collaboration with these talented women. Her vision was to pave the way for women's independence and to give them the opportunity to have a greater influence on their own future. All the beaded jewelry is handmade by the Mayan Indian women and the weaving technique they use is an ancient technique that gives the jewelry fine unique details. Pura Utz means pure quaility, and the beautiful, strong colors that Pura Utz accessories consist of adorn life with joy.
