PICK UP ORDERS IN STORE

If you have chosen to pick up your order at our store in Pogestræde in Odense, you will receive a message when your order has been processed and is ready for pickup. Your order will be processed and ready for pickup within 1 business day. Remember to have this message or your order confirmation ready to show when you pick up your package at our store.

Please note that longer processing times may occur during sales periods and holidays. We therefore hope that you will be patient during these periods as our small team works as quickly as possible to process all orders.

EXCHANGE OF ITEM(S)

If you wish to exchange for a different size or color, you must place a new order on the webshop and return the original item. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a direct exchange.

If you have any questions about exchanges, you are always welcome to contact us here.

If you wish to return your item(s), you can do so here.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at mail@dr-adams.dk. Cancellation is only possible if the order has not yet been shipped.

Once an order has been shipped from our store, it can unfortunately no longer be cancelled. In this case, please refer to our returns policy

QUALITY CHECK & COMPLAINT

All items undergo a quality check before being shipped to our customers. Should you unexpectedly receive an item with defects or deficiencies, please contact us immediately before the original hangtags and price tags are removed and the item is put into use.

COMPLAINT
Goods purchased from Dr. Adams are covered by a 2-year warranty under the Danish Sales Act. The warranty covers defects or manufacturing errors, but does not apply to wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or lack of maintenance.

If you have a complaint, please contact our customer service at claim@dr-adams.dk. Remember to include your order number or attach a picture of the original receipt from the purchase. It is also a great help if you send pictures of the damage and a short description of the complaint.

In order for us to process your complaint, the defective item must be sent to us. We will of course cover the shipping costs in connection with the complaint. You are also always welcome to contact the store regarding your complaint. The item must be clean after washing or dry cleaning, otherwise we cannot process the complaint.

Please note that the processing time for complaints is approximately 1-3 weeks. For some brands, the processing time may be longer.

USE OF IMAGE MATERIAL & COPYRIGHT

The copyright to all image material on Dr. Adams' webshop and social media belongs to Dr. Adams ApS. If you wish to use any of the material, this must be approved by the owner Stine Larsen. Contact her at stine@dr-adams.dk

Upon approval, a link to www.dr-adams.dk must always be provided.

PERSONAL DATA POLICY

This policy explains what information we collect about you, how we process it and why we do it. This applies when you visit our website, purchase a product via the webshop, sign up for our newsletter or create a user profile. We take your privacy very seriously and ensure that your information is treated confidentially.

1. Who is responsible for your personal data?
This privacy policy describes how dr. Adams ApS collects and processes information about you. The policy applies to personal information that you provide to us or that we collect via our website www.dr-adams.dk .

Dr. Adams is the data controller for your information, and all inquiries regarding personal data must be made via the contact information under section 8.

2. What information do we collect and why?

2.1 When you visit our website

We automatically collect information about your use of the website, such as which browser you use, which search terms you use, your IP address, network location and device information.

Purpose: To optimize the user experience and the website's function as well as target marketing via Facebook and Google.

Legal basis: EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(f).

2.2 When you make a purchase or communicate with us
When you purchase a product or contact us through the website, we record the information you enter, such as name, address, email, phone number, payment method, IP address and order information.

Purpose: To deliver your order, administer your rights regarding returns and complaints, and comply with accounting and bookkeeping requirements. The IP address is stored to prevent fraud.

Legal basis: EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f).

2.3 When you sign up for our newsletter
We register your name and email address.

Purpose: To send newsletters with special benefits, news and invitations.

Legal basis: EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(f).

2.4 When you create a user profile
When you create a user profile, we record your name, email and password, which are anonymized and protected.

Purpose: To give you access to your order history and simplify the checkout process.
Legal basis: EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(b) and (f).

3. Who do we share your information with?
We only share your information with external partners when it is necessary to deliver your order. This includes shipping companies such as PostNord and GLS as well as IT suppliers who manage our webshop and marketing. Our data processors may only use the information according to our instructions and may not share it. We have entered into data processing agreements with all partners.

4. Cookies and tracking tools
We use cookies and tracking tools to improve your user experience, analyze traffic, and target ads. You can always delete cookies via your browser and opt out of personalized advertising.

5. Your rights?
As a registered user, you have the following rights:

The right of access
You are entitled at any time to request information from us in writing about, among other things, what information we have registered about you, what purpose the registration serves, what categories of personal data and recipients of information there may be, as well as information about where the information originates from.

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we process about you. If you would like a copy of your personal data, you must send a written request to mail@dr-adams.dk. You may be asked to provide documentation that you are who you say you are.

The right to rectification
You have the right to have incorrect personal information about yourself corrected by us. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected.

You have the option to correct information that we have collected in connection with your profile creation on our website by logging in to your user profile.

The right to erasure
In certain cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal data deleted by us, for example if you withdraw your consent and we have no other legal basis for continuing the processing. To the extent that continued processing of your data is necessary, for example for us to comply with our legal obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, we are not obliged to delete your personal data.

The right to restrict processing to storage
In certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data to storage only, for example if you believe that the information we process about you is incorrect.

The right to data portability
In certain cases, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer it to another data controller.

The right to object
You have the right to object at any time to our processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, including the profiling carried out in order to target our direct marketing.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data if it is based on our legitimate interests, cf. sections 2.1 and 2.3, and if your personal situation justifies it.

The right to withdraw consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, including profiling of you as a member of the customer club, at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us at mail@dr-adams.dk.

The right to complain
You have the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority, Borgergade 28, 5, 1300 Copenhagen K, about our processing of your personal data at any time. Complaints can be filed, among other things, by email at dt@datatilsynet.dk or by telephone (+45) 33 19 32 00.

6. How long do we store your personal data?
Personal data collected in connection with purchases you have made on our website, cf. point 2, will be automatically deleted after 2.5 years after you have made your purchase. This type of personal data is stored for 2.5 years so that we can fulfill the right to a complaint.

However, information may be stored for a longer period if we have a legitimate need for longer storage, for example if it is necessary for a legal claim to be established, asserted or defended, or if storage is necessary for us to comply with legal requirements. Accounting material is stored for 5 years until the end of a financial year to meet the requirements of the Danish Accounting Act.

Information collected in connection with subscribing to our newsletter will be deleted when your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn, unless we have another basis for processing the information.

All information that we have collected in connection with your creation of our user profile will be deleted by Dr. Adams at your request. If a user is deleted, the user's orders will be automatically anonymized after 2.5 years in connection with our ability to fulfill the right of complaint, however without connection to the previously created user profile.

If you wish to delete your user profile on our website, please contact us at mail@dr-adams.dk, where we will then delete all your personal data provided when creating a user profile on our website, and your consent will be revoked.

7. The security of your personal data
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or deterioration, and against unauthorized access or misuse.

Only employees who have a real need to access your personal data to perform their work have access to it.

9. Changes to the personal data policy
If we make changes to the personal data policy, you will be informed of this on your next visit to the website.

If you have signed up for our newsletter or created a user profile on our website, you will be informed of the changes to the policy by sending information to your registered email address. If you cannot accept the changed policy, you will not be able to continue using our website and your personal data may be deleted.
