Mason Pearson is a 19th century engineer and inventor who used his knowledge and work experience from working in the wool processing industry to create an automatic drilling machine, followed by a rubber-cushioned hairbrush which quickly evolved and became one of the brand's most well-known products by the 1920s, which has hardly changed since.
