Opal is the name of a variety of flowering ash, which the designer Emma received from her grandmother and planted in the garden at the family's summer house. Opal started as a postpartum project, where the sewing machine was pulled out from storage, and the ideas were allowed to flow. The brand's philosophy is to create beautiful styles, that are rare to wear.
